A research trip to sunny Portugal inspired this painting series of the colorful Portuguese fishing boats. The climate in this friendly Mediterranean country is much like sunny San Diego. A beautiful miles-long shoreline has nurtured dependency on the sea and a historic tradition of fishing. |
